Planet Fitness has opened its seventh area location at 6303 W. Broad St. in Henrico County.
The new Planet Fitness has taken over 19,000 square feet of space between Aldi and Burlington. The new location, which is open 24 hours a day Mondays through Thursdays, closes at 9 p.m. on Fridays and is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Opening our seventh location in Richmond is an exciting milestone as we continue to expand our footprint,” said Shannon Meyers, a spokesperson for Planet Fitness. “This new 19,000-square-foot facility is designed to provide members with a top-tier fitness experience in a welcoming and non-intimidating environment.”
To celebrate, Planet Fitness will host a grand opening celebration on Feb. 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with free T-shirts for the first 50 raffle entries as well as giveaways and prizes.
