The Head and the Heart will stop at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront on Aug. 1.
Tickets go on presale March 4 at 10 a.m. and general admission tickets go on sale March 7 at 10 a.m.

The Head and the Heart will release their sixth studio album, "Aperture," on May 9. Their new single, “After the Setting Sun,” is out now.
Every ticket sold will add $1 to donate to the band’s Rivers and Roads Foundation, which raises money for local Seattle-based music programs and initiatives.
Front man Jon Russell and drummer Tyler Williams have strong ties to Richmond. The two went to high school together in Fredericksburg, then moved to Richmond to play in bands. Russell headed to Seattle and started writing songs for the band that would become The Head and the Heart. Both have returned and lived in Richmond.
The Head and the Heart was one of the top performers Richmond Times-Dispatch readers said they would like to see perform at the riverfront amphitheater.

Whiskey Myers will also make a stop at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront on July 26, and Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts will play at the venue on Aug. 10.
Last week, tickets to the Dave Matthews Band’s concerts on July 15 and July 16 went on sale to the general public and sold out quickly. Resale and platinum tickets surged to over $650 per ticket, frustrating fans.
According to Live Nation, there were 7,200 tickets priced between $70 and $175, but those quickly sold out. An additional 300 tickets were listed between $175 and $750. Anything listed for higher is resale, according to Live Nation. Still, fans were disappointed by the high prices.
The Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront is a $30 million, open-air concert venue being built on 4 acres on the hillside near Tredegar Iron Works overlooking the James River. Organizers said it aims to host 30 shows per year. It is scheduled to open in June.
